A Hopping Good Time
This year’s Limited Edition Easter Mini Session was hopping with little boys, girls and Archie the Boston Terrier. Some kids loved the handmade bunny headpieces and some came just for the candy. Either way everyone went home with some super cute pictures to share with the family. I know all the grandmas out there are going to be thrilled with photos of their cutie-bunnie-kins!
What’s a Mini Session?
Mini Sessions are held a few times a year and offer a quick and (usually) painless way of getting some updated images of your kids. They are typically 15-20 minutes long and you get the best of your images. Dads seem to prefer a mini session than a full session especially during playoffs or the start of baseball season. However Dads are always welcome to hang out on my couch and watch any live game streaming on their phone. Just don’t hoot too loudly when a point is scored or you might distract the models!
Previously we have done Mini Sessions for Christmas, Easter and Mommy and Me. I really do enjoy doing them because I get to be really creative with simple props, so the kids get to be the star of the show.
Mother’s Day Mini Sessions are Up Next
Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 14 this year. A mini session is a great gift for the expecting mom or the mom that has it all. Nothing is better than photos of your kids for your lovely wife – except maybe doing the dishes, a foot rub, AND photos of your kids.
