New clients are often surprised that I offer outdoor photo sessions and don't showcase much on my social media. The reason behind this is that I prioritize existing clients for fall family photos by saving spots for them first. Why do I do this, you ask? Well, I love the comfort of seeing the same families year after year, and it allows me to hold space for those existing clients. When the dates and times for bookings are released, they get first dibs.
Families take less time to warm up when they see a familiar face, which makes it easier on the children. Moreover, mothers are already familiar with the booking process, and they know how smoothly the photoshoots go. This is one less thing for them to worry about when planning their yearly fall photography session.
This year, I will be providing extra time for motherhood images after family photos. Moms deserve the space to enjoy their children and have memorable and sweet images to look back on.
